Earth Day Community Clean-Up

The Earth Day Clean-Up was a success!  The students at Oshki Ogimaag worked hard and cleaned up a bunch of trash from the community.  We picked up trash at the marina, the casino, the school and clinic area, and the Grand Portage Trail and Kelly's Hill.  Thanks to everyone who participated and thank you students for cleaning up the Earth.

With the success of this project, brought up by your efforts, the community’s air will definitely become cleaner. A dust and particle-free area is a better place for residents, especially for children and the older age group. Besides, it is nice to treat every day as if it’s Earth day. If we take this on, fresh, cleaner air everywhere would be attainable.
