The Grand Portage Reservation is at the northeastern tip of Minnesota. The Air Quality Program has many ongoing projects in order to maintain healthy indoor and outdoor air. These projects include monitoring for regional haze and particulate matter, indoor air quality, invasive plant removal, public outreach, environmental education, alternative energy, and climate change.

Earth Day Community Clean Up

The students at Oshki Ogimaag, the Grand Portage Charter School, are going to celebrate Earth Day by cleaning up trash in the Grand Portage community.  The community clean-up will be on Thursday, April 27th at 1pm.  Come join us in cleaning up the community and celebrating Earth Day.

The students made posters and banners to put up around the community to advertise the event.  They all were very creative and made wonderful pictures.
